Shake, Shake, Shake
Hi everyone, Sue here with a quick and simple shaker card that can be easily mass produced for the holidays.
I wanted the Crafty Tree Background to be my shaker image and die cut that first on my panel. I decided the tree needed a trunk so I used a square die to add one to the tree.
To make the front a little more festive I die cut a bunch of snowflakes from the Christmas Baubles die and adhered them randomly across the front.
I wanted a little bit of interest to the back of the window so I used the Memory Box Wave Stencil and sponged on ink in a similar shade to the card stock. I wasn't worried about the edges being neat as only the center portion would be visible through the window.
For the fun shaker element I knew I was going to use sequins and glass glitter but I also wanted to use the Cookie Cutter Tree die and all the little shapes that come out of it when die cut.
I ran the Cookie Cutter Tree through my die cut machine a couple of times with red and silver paper and ended up with a lot of little bits (stars, bells, ornaments, leaves) to use on future projects as well as the die cut trees. No wasted paper with this die.
Love the mix of all the shaker goodies, so fun!
