Happy Holidays!!

Hello everyone!  Our two-week blog blitz is well under way!  I’m sure enjoying it and I hope all of you are too!  My card today features the Fancy Happy Holidays die, which will be given away to one lucky person.  All you have to do is leave a comment by November 17th, and you’ll be entered to win!

  Merry Christmas - Full Card

I embossed an off-white 5.25” x 4” piece of card stock, and adhered that to the card base.  I cut the Pine Boughs dies from a light green cardstock and arranged as shown.  I "rippled" the pine needle boughs a little before gluing down, and then added a little red bling.

The Woodland Fawn was cut from brown cardstock, and sponged with Frayed Burlap distress ink on the edges and on its backside.  I also added two black dots for its eyes and a Rudolf gem stone.  I cut two of the Chochitlan Wreath from off-white cardstock and one from a dark green cardstock, offset each one and adhered them together.  I placed the fawn through the wreath, added mounting tape on the back and adhered to the card front.

I added the poinsettia flowers to the wreath to tie in with the red bling.  (I don’t know what I’d do without that cute little poinsettia die!)

I love, love, love the Fancy script words!  The Fancy Happy Holidays was cut from dark green cardstock, and I adhered that directly to the card front as shown.  I decided there was a need for a little glimmer, so I added clear Wink of Stella to the pine needles and the poinsettia.  This angle shows a little bit more of the dimension.

Merry Christmas-Angled

Don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win the die!  Thanks for stopping by.
