Leaf Tags!
Hi friends! Jeanne here today with some pretty leaf tags. It's starting to get cooler here in the evenings and I know that Fall is just around the corner. I'm looking forward to baking. I like to make cookies and pumpkin bread to share with friends and family. Having these little tags all made up will make dressing up my care packages super easy.
I made these by cutting 1" strips of colored card stock, and then taping them together. Make sure you tape completely from end to end so they don't fall apart.
Next I die cut them with a simple tag shape. To inlay the dies I attached the leaves with repositional tape and then die cut the tag.
Once these are cut out attach them to a blank tag. This will give stability and make the back side look pretty too. Apply adhesive in the open windows and inlay whatever color leaves you like.
Some pretty twine, and simple embellishments like buttons, sequins and enamel dots, or stickers complete the tags and give them a finished look.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you will give this technique a try. These tags would look great with any number of beautiful dies from Poppystamps! Have a beautiful day!
