Birthday Celebration!

Jeanne here today!  I can't belive the kids will be out of school in just a few short weeks!  I  think I have summer on the brain because I'm smitten with the Raspberry Lemonade (pink/yellow) combination lately!

I cut the Superstar border once in fuschia and once in lemon and layered them on a white card stock base.   Next I added a strip of vellum to anchor my sentiment.  I cut the "birthday" sentiment with gold card stock, and it comes from the Happy Birthday Background die.  Last step.. the fun part.... adding lots of bling!  Doesn't it just look like a party going on?  A really fun and simple card using only two dies. 
You could make this one in lots of color combinations - maybe one for a new superstar graduate?

Love this card!! This is my 9yr old daughters favourite colour combo, so its become mine of late as well. That die cut is stunning and looks so good the way you layered it, very clever!! Its a card for a party that I would love to go to as its looks so good!

You are going to sell a lot of dies based on this card alone Jeanne. This has given me so many ideas...never in a million years would I have thought to turn that die on its side. SMART!!!!
