January Release Blog Blitz
Did you hear? Lots of new Poppystamps dies have been released and to celebrate the design team is having a blog blitz! That means we'll be showing off the new products, and YES! You have an opportunity to win some of these beauties for yourself. For every post between January 6-19 we'll be showing you a new project and some blog candy. All you need to do is leave a comment to be entered to win. You need to comment on each post that you would like to be entered on. No worries - you have until midnight on January 24 to leave a comment - winners will be announced on January 27. There are up to two chances daily to win so check back often!Today I'm showing you two different ways to create with the new Birthday Background die. This die is "Open" on the ends - meaning it does not cut an outline border - so you can place it on a large piece of paper for scrapbooking. For this tie dye look I blended distress ink on a sheet of white card stock and then cut the die - if you do that backwards your sponge is going to snag on some of the cut pieces. To finish it off I trimmed the edges and gave it a spritz of gold. You can see it better in the close up.
For my second card I die cut the Birthday Background on black cardstock and then mounted it on some sticky paper -(I just ran my adhesive runner over some card stock several times). Next I cut out portions of the die in different color card stock and inserted the letters into the sticky openings.
Two very different looks from the same die right? So I bet you want to know what the prize is for this post! YEP! It's the Birthday Background!
Leave me a comment for your chance to win! Good Luck!
