Snowfall Mobile
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi there crafters,

Are you preparing for the Holidays? ...Well, of course I know you are! ;)

The project I am presenting today is a mobile that is reminding of a snow falling from the cloud, especially if you let it hang from the ceiling. It's really easy to make and it requires just a few supplies - one Poppystamps die, a couple of twigs and a few little extras.

I am explaining the whole process in the VIDEO TUTORIAL below:

Holiday's on the Hill
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog.Today I wanted to share a tip for easy cutting of intricate dies. I used the snowflake background for this tutorial.

You Will Need:

2 pieces cardstock (one is a shim other desired to be used)

1 Dryer Sheet

Layer Paper for card, Dryer sheet scrap cardstock. Run through desired Die cut machine. I used the Cut n Boss.

Most of the time all the pieces pull out and stick to the dryer sheet, leaving you piece for your design ready to use.

My trees are watercolored, houses cut from colored cardstock yellow behind for lights. I actually used the negative cuts from the the stitched landscape dies, so you basically get two cuts in each die. I added the black strip so the title wouldn't get lost in the snowflake background.

Hope you enjoyed my card and that my little tip helps you with your detailed dies.

Have a great Day!

Snowflake Window Pillow Box
by Olga Direktorenko

Hello crafters,

I would like to suggest a simple way of turning a pillow box into a very delicate and special Holiday gift - and this is by using some Poppystamps dies to create a large shaped clear window. A bit of heat embossing will complete the job.

Below are some pictures and a VIDEO TUTORIAL:

Thank you for visiting and have a great time preparing for Holidays!

Tender Snowflakes
by Olga Direktorenko

This snowflake card features some dies and stamps from Poppystamps Holiday Release.

I have die cut all the images out of white cardstock, used some embossing glitter on the sentiment and then mounted it all onto an ivory cardbase. The whole process is explained in a VIDEO TUTORIAL down below:

Thank you for visiting today and I hope to see you again soon!

From Our House to Yours
by Olga Direktorenko

Hello crafty friends,

I simply adore small layering dies by Poppystamps - they are so great for using on their own as well as for creating cute little scenes. I have re-purposed some dies to make a winter landscape with a car traveling around carrying a load of gifts.

Here are some photos and a VIDEO TUTORIAL

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!

Blog Blitz featuring Merry Christmas Tag
by Olga Direktorenko

Hello crafty friends,

The new die I'm introducing today is a Merry Christmas Tag:

It perfectly coordinates with the second largest of Main Street Tags. It is also quite versatile - the sentiment can be trimmed off and used on its own and so is the frame, so it's a 2 in 1 type of die.

I have used it to create a clear shaker tag and I just love that it completely hides all the fused seams and gives the project an elegant and finished look.

You can find some photos and a VIDEO of this project below.

To WIN this die just leave a comment below by October 7. For more chances to win comment on every post from September 21 to October 3 - each of them has its own giveaway!
