Fall Release Blog Blitz + Adhering Thin Die Cuts
by Rebecca Keppel

Rk poppystamps halloween release 2017 card1

Halloween is right around the corner! And just like those adorable costumed kitties, I couldn't be more excited! I think I love making Halloween cards as much as Christmas cards! I had a blast stamping and coloring and die cutting all those little cats, but when it came to the Happy Halloween, Crooked Fence and Doodle Jack O Lanterns, I did not have the patience to adhere them so I used a thin double sided adhesive.

Check out this short video to see how I pulled all these elements together and created my card:

This card is part of the Fall Blog Blitz which means that if you comment below you will be in the running to win those adorable Doodle Jack O Lantern dies! Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

by Rebecca Keppel

Poppystamps slider card 3

Interactive cards are so fun! But creating from scratch can be difficult and time consuming. Now, thanks to Poppystamps Straight Slider Grooves dies, you can make a fun, interactive slider card in a matter of minutes!

I paired the Straight Slider Grooves dies with the new Wintertime Fairies stamps to create two cards with interactive fairies that slide across the card.

Want to see how quickly the Christmas card came together? Check out this video to see step-by-step how easy it is to create a slider card with these dies!

These new slider dies are the perfect compliment to any character or critter stamp set, but I loved pairing them with the Wintertime Fairies! And of course it is never too early to start making holiday cards!

by Rebecca Keppel

Rk poppystamps lots of dots-2

Hi cardmakers! Today I am sharing two cards with the same design that I created for the Lots of Dots Challenge this month. You can always find the latest challenge by clicking the "challenge" tab at the top of the blog or by clicking on our challenge badge in the right margin.  A new challenge with a different theme starts on the first day of every month.  You have until the end of the month to join in!

Poppy challenge buttonThe theme this month is Lots of Dots. So dig out those Poppystamps stamps and dies and create a polka dot filled card!

I used a Memory Box stencil (Modern Pop Dots) with Distress Oxide Inks to create the background and then found those scribble dots on the Poppystamps set called Sending Scribbles. I also found some small dots in the Peony Stems Blossom set which I used to stamp tiny dots on the love die cut sentiment. I had so much fun creating this card that I made two in two different color combinations!

I even made a video showing how I created all the dots on my cards!

Don't forget to take part in this month's Lots of Dots challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Holiday Blog Blitz - Quick Holiday Cards with Ball Wreath Die
by Rebecca Keppel

Rk poppystamps ball wreath card2

Hi all! Rebecca here! It is so easy to make quick Christmas bauble wreath cards using the Poppystamps Ball Wreath Die. You simply die cut it out of the center of a 4.25x5.5 inch rectangle. I used the Memory Box Wrapped Stitched Rectangle die for added interest. Adhere it over a card base and insert glitter glue or other tinted adhesive into the tiny die cut circles.

You can use lighter pastel colors for a more modern twist or use traditional colors like I did on the green card.

Want to see how quick and easy it is to create a card like this? Check out this video:
