Hello paper crafters and welcome back to another day of Blog Blitz by Poppystamps! Today's prize to win is the new Classic Cottage die set:

This set is meant to create a pretty little house but I am going to use it a bit differently to make a much bigger building and turn it into a Holiday card! Check out the video tutorial down below for a step by step guide:

Faerie Kingdom Challenge Reminder

Have you already joined this month's challenge? The theme is Faerie Kingdom - your project should be fairy themed OR you can just use any type of glitter on it and give it some sparkle and shine! This will make it fairy enough to enter!

And if you already entered remember you can submit up to 3 projects!

Here is the card I have created following the theme - just surround one Faerie die cut with snowflakes, add a little bit of sparkle and here we are in a magical world of elves and fairies!

Please scroll down for some pictures and a video tutorial:

Woodland Magic
by Olga Direktorenko

This winter/Holiday card is super simple to assemble and even suitable for mass production.

Most of the dies that are used to make it are very intricate and that alone slows down the production process a little bit but at the same time it adds so much to the look! Apart from working with intricate dies the assembling is extremely easy - watch the video tutorial to find the full instructions!

Book of Christmas
by Olga Direktorenko

For today's project I wanted to try a new approach to layered cards. So what would you normally do to create a multi-layered card? Just attach the layers with mounting tape. But there is another way to do it - I have basically bound the two card bases with die cut windows to create a book. It is standard size, has lots of dimension, it's totally mailing friendly and has plenty of space for hand written or stamped greetings.

Here is what it looks like:

Halloween Pillow Boxes
by Olga Direktorenko

My daughter loves drawing with gel pens and I thought that some pens with a cat head caps would be a nice alternative to candies for Halloween. So I thought why not make a matching gift box for them?

I used black and white pastel paper, a couple of dies by Poppystamps and a white steel chain for jewelry making. Oh yes - and some silver embossing powder too! And here is what I came up with - just scroll down for the video!

Falling Leaves
by Olga Direktorenko

Today's project is my attempt to make a clean and simple card. I have combined the new Stitched Maple Leaf Trio by Poppystamps with the older Majestic Maple die and they worked together perfectly.

I have attached a shaker panel to the easel card base and also used a fun partial die cutting technique - check out the video below!

Chalkboard Slider Tag
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi there,

There is a fun project I would like to share with you today - that is an interactive Halloween tag. To create this tag I have used the new Autumn Fairies stamp set along with the coordinating dies and Memory Box Straight Slider Grooves dies.

My color choice this time was black and white to achieve a chalkboard look.

The fairy with a tiny Jack-O'Lantern is sliding out from behind an acorn house - watch the video to see it and to learn how to make this tag!
