Today, I'm sharing a colorful Easter tag I created with the Preppy Flowers, beautiful, open wildflowers perfect for spring! Right off the die cutting machine, the flowers are all aligned in a pretty row on a little grassy hill. But here's an easy tip to make these flowers work just about anywhere!

The Preppy Flowers can be trimmed into individual flower pieces, then mounted with a tiny bit of glue behind the edge of your oval tag, or even in a straight line behind a horizontal border.

You can arrange the Preppy Flowers any way you like, then adhere your Fluffy Bunny with half of a foam pop dot.

You can even add a few flowers to the back of your tag too, giving it a touch of colorful whimsy!

Do you love these Preppy Flowers as much as I do! Simply leave a comment on this post and you might be selected as the lucky winner of this beautiful, steel crafted die!

Serene Rabbit
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

This warm weather has me thinking about all things green and springy! So I created this adorable little bunny card that has a wonderful open and embossed texture and feel. Take a look!

I used an old favorite, the Kaysen Oval Frame, along with brand new dies from our latest release, Serene Rabbit, Easter Egg Party, and Bellen Corner.  I also added a little "secret technique" with this cheerful card. By adding die cuts, such as embellished corners or curly cues the same color as the background, you can create an "embossed" pattern as simple or as detailed as you'd like. For this card, I just used the Bellen Corner to add a little fancy texture in the corners. It's another great way to get your dies to work for you, cutting, stenciling, and "embossing."

Swaying Birch
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

The fun continues here at Poppystamps with our big new release and Blog Blitz! Today I am sharing a card I created with the brand new Swaying Birch! Take a look!

I created a fun spring scene, with a little love in the air! Last week, I used the brand new Love Balloons to create an urban scene with the bright love balloons floating through the city. For today's inspiration, I continued the floating love idea as if the balloons could be seen floating way off in the distance, in this spring view. It reminds me of a little park just outside the city.

I used the brand new Swaying Birch, which has a beautiful tree shape with tiny notches built right in. It's the perfect year-round tree! I added the Freida Curve, the Stitched Bloom Trio, and a little surprise hopping our way, Bunny Hop! The big pink balloon is from Love balloons, and those teeny, tiny background hearts floating through the air are from Grazing Deer!

All you need to do is leave a comment with some bloggy love on this post for your chance to win the Swaying Birch!

But that's not all! Come back and visit every day of our Blog Blitz and you might win one or more of the gorgeous new Poppystamps dies, just by commenting on the posts that feature your new favorites!

Wise Owl
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

It's a brand new year, and with it comes brand new Poppystamps dies, our biggest release of the year! Today I am sharing an octagon card made with one of the dies from our newest release, Wise Owl! Take a look !

Owls are magnificent and unusual birds of prey. Their unique wing structure allows them to fly in complete silence! They can be found on every continent, and have been the symbol of wisdom since the early days of Greek and Roman mythology. I was thrilled to see this little guy in our new collection! I placed him on another old Poppystamps favorite of mine, the Gingko Branch, which is currently on sale! Get one before it's gone!

While you're here, take a look at our current challenge, Silent Snowflake! I think an arctic white Snowy Owl would look beautiful in a winter scene!

There is so much going on all month long, you won't want to miss a thing! Along with  our new release comes a new Poppystamps Blog Blitz too, loaded with ideas, inspiration and prizes! Come back and play every day!

Thanks so much for joining us today!

PSC#28 Silent Snowflakes - We think you should stop and appreciate the beauty of each season.   Don't let the snow get you down - celebrate it!    There's a calm about standing silent in the snow watching the flakes descend.  It's magical how the sun or moon shining on the frozen water make it sparkle!    We're looking for designs that feature snowflakes!  We think they look beautiful stamped, embossed, and dusted with glitter but our very favorites are the intricate designs made with dies!  Whatever you choose make sure you include at least ONE Poppystamps image (die or stamp) on your design!

City Sidewalks
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

One of the things I love about Christmas is how we celebrate it all over the world, from small country towns to the big city metropolis! I lived in a big city for many years, and have always loved the busy city streets during the holidays. I used a few of my favorite Poppystamps to create this city scene.

This card uses only three dies, Wintergreen Border, Downtown Urban Landscape, and Crystal Snowflake Corner Frame. To create a pretty scene like this, you have to think in terms of layers. Start with the base card, then add the bottom layer of buildings first, stacking layers until the Wintergreen Border layers are placed on the top. Have fun experimenting with the paper, manipulating leaves and vines until they lay just the way you want. It's amazing how versatile a border die can be once you start playing with edges and overlaps. Create your own city scene!

Enjoy your holidays wherever you are, and wherever your heart lies! From our family to yours, Happy Holidays!

December Joy
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

December has finally arrived, and that means we can now start singing Christmas carols with abandonment, eating all the holiday treats without guilt, and loving all the sparkling snow! December is a truly magical month!

Today I am sharing a sparkly, glittery card that celebrates December! Take a look!

I used the gorgeous Honeybee Layers from Birch Press Design and added a few of my favorite Poppystamps to make this card feel sparkly and cheerful! If you're like me, you LOVE glitter but hate the gluey mess. So I add the sparkle and shine with glitter paper and foil paper, which look beautiful with our intricate dies!

Take a look at our new challenge too, O Christmas Tree! There's always room for a more glitter on the tree!

Winter Haven
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

I've got a fun card to share with you today! I've never really made anything quite like this before, and it turned out great! It was easy to make too! I created a bright, crisp, all-white shaker card and I only used ONE die! Take a look!

The card was created like any usual shaker card, with a base, front panel, foam stick tape, acetate, and a background piece. But I only used one die to make it, House in the Woods, from the latest Poppystamps release. It is such a beautiful die, I knew I wanted to create a shaker the very moment I laid eyes on it.

I made the entire card out of bright white card stock, and used white glitter background paper to make the sky sparkle behind the acetate. I filled the shaker with a handful of very tiny clear seed beads. I wish you could see how it sparkles in the light!

I added one tiny piece of green paper to light the windows in the house, to shine a light for a Veteran! It's a tiny safe winter haven in the snow!

I love how the House in the Woods die cuts such a detailed, intricate pattern with only one cut! You have got to try this!

While you're here, check out our Poppystamps challenge, Plaid is Rad! There's still time to play, and you might be a winner!

Thanks for joining me today!
