Circa and Stitched Mitten Square
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there ! I have a few cards to share with you in the next few days. First up I am using my wonderful

Circa A, B, and C from Birch Press Design. I so love that set!

I found that the sweet little , Stitched Mitten Square fit very nicely inside the center of this card.

I think I will be using this card for a babies first Christmas or just Christmas . I may stamp on on the outside when I decide.

I like to wait to stamp until I know for sure who or for what the card will be used.

I find it saves time when I need a card .

Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a great week!

Snowflake Christmas
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there! Hope you are all doing well. I made this card a few weeks back .

I altered the frame die on my card , I decide I wanted to cut the frame off  so I could adhere my panel  with white fun foam to a white card base .

I added some Silver Deco Color Premium Marker on the Merry Christmas and a few spots to highlight the beautiful snowflakes.

The Marais Snowflake is raised with a bit of foam tape . Hope you like it!

So many beautiful dies and stamps to choose from over at the Poppystamps Store!

Thank you so much for the visit today!

Christmas Sweater Marybeth Lopez

Hello ! I wanted to take a minute and thank you for all the kind comments you left for me and the rest of the DT during the Blog Blitz, Thank You!

I have a cute little Christmas sweater for for you today. Simple card with a little die.

I colored the sweater with my Zig Brush Pens . I made this a few weeks back ... I am pretty sure I used the Press and Seal wrap to keep the  sweater dies together.

I mentioned this technique  on my Candy Cane Gift post in the blog blitz with a photo.

I used the largest Pinpoint Rectangle for the white panel with Freehand  Merry Christmas In gold foil paper .

The white watercolor paper is  Masters Touch from Hobby Lobby craft store.

I think this little sweater can add a fun detail to any Christmas Card and I love the font of the Merry Christmas!

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Candy Cane Gift
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and welcome to another day of Poppystamps Blog Blitz, we are  sharing darling new products and a chance to win a new die!

I love this Candy Cane Gift Die it sure makes for a fresh and simple Christmas card.

I also love glitter and added some chunky glitter to this layered candy cane. I think I layered it 3 times.

Many of you may already know this trick but just in case I wanted to share with you.

Place Press and Seal ( sticky wrap) over the cut piece of die and gently pull up, the pieces will stick  to the press and seal

turn over add glue then place on your card . It will be spaced just as you cut it .

I learned this from another designer.  Im sure you can find a video showing how to do this .

I used watercolor paper from Hobby Lobby for the white panel, I love the texture! The gift bow is in foil red.

Be sure and leave a comment here on this post as Dave ( the owner) is generously giving a way to one random commenter : Candy Cane Gift!

Each day you will have a chance to win a die, two post a day on the Poppystamps blog.

Thank you for the visit and good luck!

Circa Layer Christmas
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there! My turn to share a card today. I absolutely love these Circa Layer dies from Birch Press Design ! So simple, cut three layers and then add what ever you want.

You can make it simple or detailed. I went a little more detailed this time for a Christmas card.

I simply layered a few holly leaves and then snipped apart the Freida Wreath. I added lots of chunky glitter

then last minute added Nuvo Crystal Red Berry Drops on top of the paper berries.

Thank you so much for stoping by today! I really love the Circa Layer set and think you would too! :)

Diamond Pumpkin
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there! Marybeth here today with a diamond pumpkin shaker card! I love how this turned out!

I used Poppystamps Carved Diamond Pumpkin and cut it twice, sandwiched in between is a clear pouch

of mixed sequins and beads I made with the heat tool. I seamed the pouch to the shape of the pumpkin.

I also used foam tape three layers thick cut in very thin strips.

For the leaves I used the fun Stitched Pumpkin Leaves from Poppystamps. To color the leaves I used distress inks in crushed olive and peeled paint.

The sentiment is Give Thanks Brushed and only used the thanks , it’s layered twice.

I wanted to keep the card kinda simple since the die is already pretty intricate. I wish you could see this

card in person. Hope you like it!

Christmas Friends
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, friends! Happy weekend to you all! I made a simple stamped card not colored .

I used the new Christmas Friends stamp set and an older one for the tree called : You Keep Me In Stitches

with Hexagonal Layers!

For the bit of color, I used Nuvo Crystal Drops, they come in colors and I used, Red Berry and White

Blizzard. I added a bit of foam tape to the backs of the cut out dies , that was it. I made one for Instagram

about a week ago, using just : You Keep Me In Stitches.  You can see it on my Instagram

I like the font of this sentiment but on the inside it will say Merry Christmas.

Thank you for the visit and I hope you have a great weekend!

Deep Purple Bloom by Marybeth Lopez

Hello! I hope you enjoyed all the Blog Blitz cards! Don’t you love all the new products!

We all thank you for your kind comments. The last day to leave a comment on any card for a chance to win, is July 21.

I used two Poppystamps Poinsettia dies , I wanted you to see it can be made into any flower.  I kept changing my mind as I made this card and ended with deep dark purple card stock,

added shimmer with a Spectrum noir clear pen( also for the background  splatters)

The leaves were colored with Zeg pens, the leaves are actually the flower petals, I do that a lot.

Thanks for the visit today!
