Winter card
by Ilona Zbieg

Hi Poppystamps fans :)

Christmas time is coming.

I am sharing a  Christmas card today.

There are three layers of the paper: white, green (2-3mm smaller) and white again. This time it was about 5mm difference to make that nice green frame around.

I used star mask and pearl paste to make those tiny white-glitter stars on the background.

Silver  glitter paper was used for that circle in the centre. It was decorated with Wintergreen Border die.

There are actually three cut outs but I cut out the bottom part of each and then they were stuck underneath the circle.

Two poinsettias are added on the border of the circle and then I added Country House die together with some turquoise stars.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Winter scenery
by Ilona Zbieg

Hi there,
Today I would like to invite you on the winter journey.

This winter wonderland was made with the newest Popystamps dies (house and lamp) and Memory Box stencil (forest).

Firstly I mixed structural paste with blue pearl paint.

I placed stencil on the card and spread my mix inside that.

Simple trick but effect is quite amazing.

I used the same die (Merry Christmas) to cut letters (light mint color) and place for them (white paper) and then I just stuck letters inside.
On top of that I added lamp and house which are made of few layers to get that 3D effect.

Finally I added some snow using a snow marker and there you go :-) lovely cold-winter card is ready.

Thank you so much for stoping by today!

Have a good day!

Glitter Christmas Cards
by Ilona Zbieg

Hi everyone

Ilona here today.

I want to invite you to my last inspiration this year.

I prepared glitter christmas card. I used white, blue, brown glitter papers and made winter scene.

I cut out a rectangular window with light blue frame and glued christmas tree inside.

Because my card is very luminous, my 9 years old daughter love it. She handed the card to her teacher.

Wishing you peace, joy, and all the best this wonderful holiday has to offer.

May this incredible time of giving and spending time with family

bring you joy that lasts throughout the year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Snowy Day
by Michele K. Henderson

It's a Snowy Day this December morning! These bright primary colors remind me of the pages of a children's book, where snow is always fluffy white and magical! To create the snowy background, I used white embossing paste and the Memory Box designer stencil Texture Tiny Dots. It's a marshmallow world in the winter!

To create the Christmas lights inside the house, I inserted tiny pieces of paper in the window to look like different rooms with different lights. Now it feels festive too!

I had to include a little pic of Omar kitty too!

Thanks for joining me today!

Gift bags
by Ilona Zbieg

Hi :)

Ilona here.

It’s hard to believe it, but the holiday season is upon us!

This year, why not get an early start on gift wrapping and do something extra special for your friends and family?

Part of the fun of the holidays is getting gifts which are wonderfully packaged. Make your wrapping and labels part of the gift.

There’s nothing like adding a personal touch to every package!

Last time I handmade two gift bags with tags made from Poppystamps dies.

By adding simple embellishments, ordinary brown or white paper bags are transformed into elegant wrappings.

Thanks for stopping by!

I wish you success in  holidays preparation.

Have a nice day :)

It's time for bright Christmas greetings with the new String Ornament from Poppystmps! This easy breezy string ornament is a terrific addition to your Christmas dies collection! I paired it with a few old and new Poppystamps holiday dies, Holly Leaves and Berries, Jumbled Merry Christmas, and Valley Snowflakes to create a vivid, eye-popping Christmas card!  The background was created with white embossing paste and the Simple Chevron designer stencil from Memory Box.

Butterfly Gift Card Holder Tags
by Olga Direktorenko

There comes a day in every craftsperson's life when you realize you've got to do something with all those scraps you have, but you are terrified by the thought of throwing them away. So today is this kind of day to me!

I have chosen to make some tags to utilize some of the card stock scraps. The tag pockets are just the right size to put a gift card into.

Here are some photos of the tags as well as the VIDEO TUTORIAL on how to make them:

Thank you for visiting today!

Autumn Home
by Michele K. Henderson

Have you been finding all this terrific autumn color exciting? I certainly have, and it seems like anything goes! You can use bright citrus neons or colorful Halloween mixes, but for today's card, I used a traditional autumn color palette. I mixed deep yellow gold, rust, olive green, and brown to create an autumn card that says Home for the Holidays.

I started with a rust card stock base, then cut a smaller panel of yellow gold. Then I used one of my favorite Memory Box designer stencils, Texture Tessatina, with white textured embossing paste. When I first started working with embossing paste, I only used the distressed patterns, in case I messed it all up it wouldn't be too noticeable. But the Texture Tessatina is a really beautiful pattern, and I was so happy when I pulled up my stencil to reveal a smooth , near-perfect result! The pattern reminds me of tiny ceramic tiles, or a thick Irish wool sweater. I thought it made a very pretty background to the elements of home I included in my card: Alpine House Roofs and Background, Alpine House Collection, Woodland Oval, An Apple A Day, Harvest Pears, A Cherry on Top, Mamma and Baby Quail, and Button Oval, all available from Poppystamps.

Do you have a great idea for an Autumn card? You can create a card, project, or home decor idea and enter it in this month's design challenge, Autumn Splendor! Get all the details by clicking on the Poppy Challenge badge on the right.

Your Autumn idea could make you the winner of a brand new Poppystamps die from our latest holiday release. See all the Autumn Splendor inspiration from our Poppystamps design team!
