Birthday Wishes
by Nancy Penir

Hi Poppy fans! I have a bright and happy card for you today, using some of the new stamps and dies just released.

I've been playing with alcohol inks, learning some of the wonderful things they can do, and created a couple of 'artsy' backgrounds.

From one of them, I cut 2 jars from the newly released, Jar Collection. Jars are so popular right now, and Poppy's given us 3 sizes in one die set.

I cut all 3 of the images from Peony Stems and Blossom from watercolor card stock, and stamped with Hero Arts Wet Cement. It's a favorite I use to give a light line to the image I'm watercoloring. The blooms were colored with Zig Clean Colors.

My sentiment is from is from Sending Scribbles, stamped with Wet Cement on a homemade banner.

See the doilies around the mouth of the jars? They are dies cuts from one of the new, Petit Four Stitched Borders.

A closeup of the jars shows how I removed some of the color around the edges with a copic 0. By using the 0 pen, you can also add hi lights and suggest a bottom to the jars. I drew in the stems to the flowers with copic W5.

Hope you enjoyed my card and how it was done, and are inspired to play with some of the fabulous new stamps and dies!

Heart Strings in Color
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there friends, hope you are all happy and well! We have been enjoying so much needed rain here in California with green hills and mountains! Many sunny days mixed in as well!

I used this sweet Heart String die from Poppystamps to create a birthday card for one of my sisters that has her birthday near, St. Valentines Day.

I simply cut out 5 colors added a bit of adhesive to the back and then fanned them out. I used the new Poppystamps ; Grateful Hearts Stamp set for my sentiment.

There are many  little sentiments to chose from  in this set, this will be for a birthday .

Marine Welcome
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! Lezlye,  here today with another version of a Military Welcome home Card for my son! I leave tomorrow for San Diego to see him graduate! Then he spends 10 glorious days with us before heading back for infantry training. I used Vincent House, Puffy clouds and the blank Banner pieces from happy Birthday Banner flags. I utilized rub on letters from my paper crafting stash.

Military welcome2

I used cardstock for each of my layered house pieces. I hand drew the banner strings. The landscape dies were used for the hills. I used a total of 4 different die sets for this card.

Super Friend
by Sue McRae

Welcome to the blog today! I have a card that features 3 of the new dies Poppystamps released this spring.

I used the Quiet Bird Sash for my little scene. This new style of die doesn't cut at the ends of the die, the die cut stays connected so a piece of paper can be put behind it but I wanted to use the branch on its own so I just snipped the die cut out with a pair of scissors.

The bird that sits on the branch is the exact same size as one of the birds in the Chirping Birds die so I die cut it out of red paper and gave it a friend.

For my card front I took the Curved Banner Frame, die cut it from white card stock and popped it up with foam tape. I stamped the Thank You by curving it to follow the shape of the frame and continued with the rest of the sentiment on the banner.

To finish off I added a strip of double sided adhesive to the bottom of the front panel and covered it with white ultra fine glitter.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Bellina Butterfly Faux Shaker
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and welcome to the Poppystamps Blog Blitz!

All you have to do is leave a comment on my blog for a chance to win this beautiful:

 Bellina Butterfly Ribbon Die!

This shaker is not really a shaker because each bead and sequin is glued down inside . This is perfect for mailing as its all flat!

I cut a layer of fun foam then adhered my top die cut panel on top of the foam, that gave me a place to add the beads. The butterfly is held in place with glue around the edges and gently placed back in, a few beads help keep it up.

I watercolored the panel behind the butterfly, stamped the greeting with Poppystamps  stamp : You Keep Me In Stitches.

I am loving this sparkly( more in person)  faux shaker card!

You can comment on all post each day for a chance to win the die each Designer is giving away. Good Luck!

Hello! Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog Blitz , where we showcase some of the beautiful, fun new products! You’re going to love the wide variety of dies, something for everyone!

The die I am giving away today : Curved Banner Frame! So many different ways to use this fabulous new die!

All you have to do for a chance to win is leave a comment!

I used paint sample chips for my card today.

I have a large stack of paint sample chips from the local store. I.... ALWAYS... ask first and let them know that I am using them for cards not looking for paint, they always tell me go ahead and take as many as I  want.

I cut out all my dies added the front panel to a layer of fun foam with adhesive , like a puzzle I just started placing the pieces back in .

I love the new Giraffe Trio and thought it would make a good baby card! The sentiment is Poppystamps Into The Words.

Good Luck and thanks for the visit!

Wish you a Merry Christmas

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog, today I have a Holiday Card for you!  I used very shiny metallic paper for a very festive card. The background was created using a stencil and Ranger distress ink. I then cut the music notes and applied them to make it look like sheet music. The Merry Christmas and the the poinsettia are cut from the metallic gold, red and green paper. I also used the Ribbons die for the title.

The center of the Flower is a mixture of stickles and gold glitter circles.

Be Thankful
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Well Fall has finally hit Californa! We had temps in the 80's on Halloween, then November 1st hit and we are in the low 50's.. Brr. So my card represents Fall and with Thanksgiving coming we all need to remember to be Thankful. I used the Memory Box background stamp and distress inks to get the multiple colors on the stamp. Sponging was done all around the card. Then I added stickles around the leaves. I die cut the  poppystamps leaves die in gold. I added some paper leaves and a inked wood apple. The sentiment is from the falling for you poppystamps stamp set.
