Sparkly New Year's Card
by Rebecca Keppel

Poppystamps star card 1

I decided to make a few New Year's Eve cards, but had no themed papers or embellishments! So I dug through my favorite Poppystamps dies and stamps and found some fun star images. Add some glitter ink, cardstock and metallic Nuvo Crystal drops and it's easy to make a fun celebratory card that could easily be used for New Year's Eve or any special occasion.

Cut the Poppystamps Wrapped Star out of glitter cardstock and create a fun star pattern with two small star stamps as a background and you have almost everything you need for a great New Year's Eve card! Check out this video to see how I put the card together without any themed New Year's Eve products!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a very happy and healthy New Year!

Holiday Thank You Card
by Robin Tharaldson

Thank You Full1 with

Well, the holidays are a memory; they sure came and went FAST!!! So, before the new year, it's time to get my thank yous out! My mom always, always made me do my thank yous within a week of receiving a gift. Not sure what happened during the course of a few decades but I hear you have a year to get your "thank yous" out!!!

Thank You CU1 with

My "Thank You" card is easy and uses the Thank You Channel die to create your sentiment! This die is no longer available from Poppystamps but several retail stores have them.

Thank You CU2 with

I used the Evangeline Floating Square as my main focus but you can easily change the background color and die to suit any occasion!

Here's wishing you a Happy New Year! And be sure to stop by the Poppystamps blog for more inspiration and techniques for the design team!

Ribbon Heart Card
by Jennifer Svare

Hearts_Watermark

Hello!  Today I'm excited to share this Valentine's Day card idea using the new Ribbon Heart die from the latest release!  I love how any colors can be used to create the background that shows along the bottom and through the heart ~ the variety of color always makes it fun for card makers when producing several at a time!

The embossed background and the multiple thicknesses of the heart adds great dimension while being white-on-white.  Even though it's a very clean, simple card, there is a ton of detail ~ and I love how it all fits together.

Nuvo crystal drops were added to the centers of the Petit Four Stitched Borders die, in colors to match the backgrounds of the cards. I didn't want to add any new colors here because there was already so much going on with the details of the card.

Here's a step-by-step video of how I made this card.  I hope you have a great day, and I can't wait to show more from this new release!

Snowflake Dancer
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi and Merry Christmas to all!

Today I have a special project to share - it is a winter themed shaker card with the background made of real mirror tiles. Those are meant for the home decoration but I think they are also perfect for cardmaking and add sparkle and shine like no other thing does!

The Floral Dancer die by Poppystamps can be easily made into a Snowflake Dancer one - just use white and add some icy sparkle!

Have wonderful Holidays filled with lots of love and magic!

Merry Christmas
by Pam Simpson

Welcome everyone,  Merry Christmas to you all.. from the Poppystamps Design Team. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas holiday.

IMG_1248-crop

Simple card design today, as I needed a card in a hurry.. Background embossing folder from my stash. This I have frantage with Stampendous Chunky White and Shabby Green Embossing enamel..I sprinkled some mix of both product onto my embossed card panel, then using a heat gun I melted from underneath, by using tweezers holding the panel..Not my fingers! as this can get very hot. (below)

IMG_1249-crop

"Evergreen Trees" from Poppystamps, cut and did the same method as the panel card, with a touch of green ink to finish the edge.. "Snowy Merry Christmas" after I die cut in my machine, I did the same to the Merry, but here you have this detail on the die cut, so I inked with clear  ink then sprinkled the mix on, heat from above as ink holds the embossing enamel.

Adhere the "Grazing Deer" among the trees, finished with a few "Shiny Snowflakes" with red "Cheery Cardinals"

Thank you for stopping by and your wonderful support, I will be back in the New Year   Pam x.

I used the Pinpoint Main Street Tags and Home for the Holidays Wreath dies to create this gift card holder. The holly leaves in the wreath have amazing detail!

Rustic Winter Wreath
by Michele K. Henderson

IMG_5061-wm

Hello Everybody!

Today I am sharing a card I created that was inspired by those frosty winter mornings in the country. I love waking up early and seeing the way the frost has covered the trees, and the wreath on the old barn door is a rustic Christmas welcome.

IMG_5053-wm

To create the rustic winter wreath, I cut 4 pieces of the Twisted Oak Branch, 2 in green and 2 in glittery white, and arranged them into a roundish shape. Then I added 2 Pine twigs, a Cheery cardinal, and tiny stars from the All-Star Collage. I used a fancy coppery patina paper, to look like rustic tin or copper stars on those beautiful old country barns.

We are so grateful you could join us here today!
