Oh what a great day for a visit! We've got some new dies to share and that means we're having a blog blitz! During the blog blitz we'll be showing projects made with the newest release and giving you a chance to win on every single post! Today I'm sharing the new Dandelion Stem!
I started this card by making a colorful background of borders cut with the new Pretty Stitches die set. The set has three borders with different stitching, and different shaped eyelet cuts. I started by creating a panel of bright yellow paper and then adhered the stitched borders from the bottom of the panel to the top. I cut each border 1 1/2" wide. I spaced the borders measuring 1/4" from the top of the cut hole in the border to the bottom edge of the die that is layered above it.
Dandelions always get me thinking of when I was a child... we'd pick them when the heads were dry and full of fluffy seeds, blow on them and make a wish.
I cut two of the Dandelion Stems so that I could snip some of the little seeds from one of them and make them look like they are floating in the air!
Do dandelions make you think of wishes too? I'm wishing that you are the lucky winner of this pretty die!

This card is so bright and cheerful! Dandelions are a mother's first bouquet from her child and yes, I remember making a wish or two or more and watching my wishes float away in the breeze. Beautifully done!

Morning Jeanne, Wow !! this dandelion stem die looks like a 'firecracker' it is beautiful, the colours you have used in this petticoat-style background are so pretty, and the 'wish' die-cut is so apt. We used to do the same things as children, when they were white and fluffy we used to keep blowing the 'clocks'and make a wish, oh this has taken me back in time. Really lovely.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
