Happy Easter
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Good Morning Poppystamps fans! I have  an Easter card for you today.

Final poppy

I did an inlay technique here. I used three colors of cardstock.

Use a post it note to hold the die in place, I ran my background colors with the white to get my positioning of my papers correct.

You will need to save all the tiny pieces to insert back into the letters as shown in the photo below.

You'll notice I used green to match the grass below and blue on top. There are several variations of this technique. It can be tedious but well worth the end result. I created my own grass tufts using fringe scissors and a strip of cardstock. Just tucking the eggs into the grass. A couple hopping bunnies to tie into the theme.

I added Stickles with a paint brush and a little grey copic marker to the clouds. I hope you enjoy my Easter Card.

Morning Lezlye, Wow !! I'm loving the effect you have with the paper-piecing technique, really lovely. I love 'ALL' the dies you have used, and this 'Easter Hunt' scene is fabulous !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Lezlye your card is such fun love the effect you created and a lovely grown up Easter card too thanks for sharing.

WoW! Beautiful, fun card! Thank you for the step by step tutorial, it is a lot of detail work, but amazing look when finished! Fringe scissors for grass, I have a pair of those and I don't think I have ever used them, now I will. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, inspiring card today! It is gloomy here again and this card brightened my day!
