Dream Butterfly.
by Pam Simpson

Hello everyone, think Poppystamps DT are loving these New Release Butterfly dies,  a few of us seem to be using them! unless we are all hoping for Spring weather to arrive..

This "Dream Butterfly" die from the new release is 3.1/2" wide when flat.  so I just arranged on a corner with foliage.

No background matching die, so I embossed this butterfly in my die cutting machine, then cut around with scissors, as shown.

Using the cutout butterfly in blue card  (as below) I have adhered to the embossed one.. using Pro marker I added some colour and glitter to the background, with random brown dots with marker pen.

adhered plain white cut out butterfly  just the middle section, so these wings are loose. I  hot glued to the card with some  ribbon mesh.

These two border sides are "Tendril Dream Frame"  just enough on this card with this sweet "Hello" brown with a whit shadow,  foliage "Monterey Vine" with a few Butterfly Sprinkles in brown..

finished card 7.1/2"x 6.1/2".. cut in Aqua and White.

Thank you for stopping by Pam.

Gorgeous card! Great idea to make your own background butterfly! Thanks for sharing your tip.

Hi Pam, This card is stunning !! Every die you have used here 'marries' perfectly with each other. The colours are wonderful and I love your tip for embossing the butterfly to provide you with a 3-D effect butterfly. Stunning !!
