Wirework Ornament
by Irena Kowalczyk

Hello, Poppystamps friends.
It's day next on the blog blitz the newest release from the Poppystamps holiday collection. Be sure to check in on the blog all time for more inspiration and prizes!

Wire2pn

I prepared two projects, I used in them New die Wirework Ornament.
You can use that one Wirework Ornament with die Retro Ornaments.
If you don't have a die Retro Ornaments, it's not a problem because Wirework Ornament suits perfect to cards.

The first card made in my favorite style - with kraft paper.
Here, I used New Wirework Ornament die and Retro Ornaments.
I added the new die cutter Scribble Flourish and Pine Boughs.

Wire4pn

Wire3pn

The second card more delicate. I cut a few times in different colors and connect together. And at the bottom of the card I added a wave of stitched Hills craft die.

If you would like a chance to win this Wirework Ornament die all you have to do is leave a comment.

You have until midnight US EST October 7 to leave a comment on each and every post that you want to enter. Winners will announced on this blog on October 10.

Merry Snowflakes
by Sue McRae

It's another great day to be visiting us at Poppystamps because we're still on a roll with the blog blitz.

P1340102c

Today I'm featuring the Pickering Snowflake Border. This die can quickly add a festive touch on your cards either vertically or horizontally or the snowflakes can be cut apart to use individually.

I went with nontraditional colours for this card by water colouring the snowflakes in pink, purple, blue and aqua shades. After they were dry I gave them a quick spritz with Perfect Pearls.

P1340113c

The sentiment is actually from the Merry Christmas Tag die. I die cut the tag from glossy card stock that I coloured with alcohol inks and trimmed out the sentiment. This way you get a lot more mileage from your dies.

P1340098c

The silver ornament is part of the Merry Ornament die. I just snipped it away from the sentiment and adhered it to the back of the snowflake.

I adhered all my die cuts to a piece of wood grain card stock and added a few gems to finish off the card.

Remember to leave a comment for your chance to win the Pickering Snowflake Border and come back every day to see all the inspiration from the design team.

Thanks for visiting with me today.

Holidays Wreath
by Ilona Zbieg

IMG_4689

Hi Poppystamps fans

Today is my second inspiration for Blog Bliz.

I started this card by watercoloring a background. My background is not the traditional Christmas colors. I used yellow color to make it fresh.

In the next step I cut two wreaths  in two colors and glued one to the other. I created poinsettia using Holiday Poinsettia die.

The inscription on a card in the same color as one of the wreaths.

If you would like  a chance to win this Holidays Wreath die all you have to do is leave a comment.

Capri Sleigh
by Sue McRae

Welcome to another blog blitz post. Sue here with my first card showcasing the new Capri Sleigh.

P1330949c

I started by colouring my background in different shades of Distress Ink, placing the Memory Box Scattered Flakes Stencil on top of the dried background and applying Picket Fence Distress Ink with a sponge dauber.

The Capri Sleigh is a three piece die set making it easy to customize each section of the sleigh in whatever colours or patterns you wish! I die cut the sleigh from foil card stock (and it embosses a pretty design into the sleigh as well) and used silver glitter card stock for the runner and decorative trim.

P1330950c

Of course I needed to fill the sleigh with presents and presents with glitter and sparkle. I also think the sleigh would look great filled with a few trees or holiday ornaments.

The pine trees were die cut from white card stock and where the die embosses a raised section on the tree I added Flower Soft for snowy texture. You could use glitter or beads too!

P1330958c

To ground the scene I used the Merry & Bright Channel die which lets some of the background colour peek through.

P1330915c

For your chance to win the Capri Sleigh please leave a comment on this post.

The blog hop continues until October 3rd so make sure to drop by every day and leave a comment on each blog post to win the specified die from the new release.

Happy Crafting!

Christmas Wishes.
by Pam Simpson

Hello we are having a mini Blog Blitz , sharing some of the new dies from Poppystamps !  Time to win a prize just by leaving a comment.

IMG_9204-crop

This is a simple card design using the new Poppy die "Tall Fluffy Snow Tree" .. This die cuts each layer separately, you can use as many layers as you like, I used them as they cut, but you could have smaller trees by leaving the large bottom cuts of your design.

IMG_9208-crop

These trees I cut in brown card, shaded through while still in the die with soft brown ink, removed and using a glue pen over the shaded area, next sprinkled fine glitter.

Foam sticky tape each cut to add dimension. I added white micro beads and Stickles  Xmas red glitter after the card was finished.

IMG_9202-crop

Hexagon shape cut with Poppystamps Stitched Hexagon Layer dies! Foam tape on reverse of white card adhered to a 6x6 card blank.

Red glitter card for the Bow & String die, adhered across the card, cut another bow for dimension.

Stamp sentiment in red ink.

If you would like  a chance to win this... Tall Fluffy Snow Tree die all you have to do is leave a comment.

Merry & Bright
by Lezlye Lauterbach

WOW Isn't all this inspiration just Amazing! Lezlye here back with more shine. I just love shine and glitter for Christmas! I sure hope the Bright design makes you Merry!

Merryandbrightpoppy

I am showcasing the Pickering Snowflake Background Die. This is a very detailed die and takes some care and appropriate material choices for optimal results.

I ended up using 2 pieces of cardstock and a dryer sheet. Have you heard of that technique? If not let me know and I will share it in a future post.

Merrybright2

My card base is 110 lb solar white neenah. I then had this fabulous gold heavy card-stock I cut it to fit the background piece and glued them both to the base.

Merrybright3

Merrybright4

Check out the detail on the sled. I die cut it first then used a thin rubber mat in place of a paper or cut mat and it dry embossed the design built into the die! Don't forget to comment to win this fabulous background die!

DSC_0220

Hello and welcome to another day of Poppystamps Blog Blitz, we are  sharing darling new products and a chance to win a new die!

I love this Candy Cane Gift Die it sure makes for a fresh and simple Christmas card.

I also love glitter and added some chunky glitter to this layered candy cane. I think I layered it 3 times.

Many of you may already know this trick but just in case I wanted to share with you.

Place Press and Seal ( sticky wrap) over the cut piece of die and gently pull up, the pieces will stick  to the press and seal

turn over add glue then place on your card . It will be spaced just as you cut it .

I learned this from another designer.  Im sure you can find a video showing how to do this .

I used watercolor paper from Hobby Lobby for the white panel, I love the texture! The gift bow is in foil red.

by Michele K. Henderson

IMG_3509-wm

Hello Everyone!

Are you loving all this terrific inspiration in our Poppystamps Blog Blitz? I know I am really enjoying seeing what my design team friends are creating with all these brand new Poppystamps dies and stamps! Today, I am sharing a few things I made with the new Scribble Square!

IMG_3510-wm

I fell in love with this fun little die the first time I saw it! I have about a dozen of crazy color combinations I'd love to try. But today, I went with a colorful Christmas red and green to create this card and matching gift tag. It was so easy to make too - -just a few pieces and voila!

IMG_3525-wm

I used the new Scribble Square, along with the Scribble Snowflake Circle, Swirled Joy, Madeleine Snowflakes, Stitched Main Street Tags, and the Pinpoint Dome Tag Decorations to create this holiday combo.
