Flourish Blooms
by Yoonsun Hur

Hello crafty friends, Yoonsun here!

Today I'm sharing with you my card with so beautiful Flourish Blooms stamp set & Daphne Butterfly die - I LOVE flowers and butterflies!!!
To create the card, I stamped the flowers from the Flourish Blooms set on the bottom part of watercolour paper panel with warm colours first, and then lightly coloured around the stamped areas with Worn Lipstick Distress ink using a wet paint brush. I added some red ink splatters. Next, I die cut the butterflies from white card stock using the Daphne Butterfly and Butterfly Sprinkles dies. I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then decorated the butterflies on top of the card using dimensional foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the Hope and Thanks stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!!

Bird in a Boat
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

Today I've got a really sweet CAS style card for you! I was looking over some of my favorite Poppystamps photopolymer clear stamps for a fun summer image, and I found this tiny boat from the Fawning Over You set! It's so darling! I love the sentiment too, from the Into the Words set!

After I finished the tiny boat card, I set it aside and began working on this little blue bird, the Small Chickadee, for my next card. I said to myself, "Hey, this little boat is just his size!"

I love the idea that this little guy is doing his own thing!

As a Poppystamps designer, one of the things I love most is how easy it is to mix and match stamps and dies, and how easy it is to create cards in almost every style of card making!

There's so much going on over here you won't want to miss a thing! We've got great inspiration and ideas in so many beautiful styles, and even challenges and blog candy too! A little birdie told me something big is right around the corner! Check back every day and see if it floats your boat!

Thanks for joining us today!

Baby Thank You
by Sue McRae

Sue here with a sweet and simple baby thank you card.

I started out by die cutting and layering the tag frame 5 times, adhering it to the square layer and adding the sentiment.

The cute alphabet blocks were cut from three different shades of paper and attached with foam squares.

I used the Pinpoint Rectangle Layers for the yellow panel (don't you just love those tiny holes all around the edge?) and took a small image from the new Flower Patch Stamp set and stamped it randomly with yellow ink for a subtle background pattern. The thank you sentiment was stamped with black ink and clear heat embossed.

I added everything onto a yellow card base and finished off with a twine bow.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Celebration Time
by Lezlye Lauterbach

A Fourth Of July Themed Card for you today. I was trying to think ahead on this one. I cut three different colors and then placed the pieces in to create my pattern.I used washi tape to hold my little pieces. (this was a bit difficult and tedious, but the result is worth it!) You could easily change it up for any season you wish, just change the paper choices. My sentiment is a sticker I had in my stash.

Superstar Sash Celebration
by Jeanne Jachna

Summer celebrations are in full swing!  I'm seeing graduation and pool parties all over the neighborhood.   I'm even hearing fireworks throughout the night - my poor dog!  I almost made this card red white and blue to celebrate the 4th, but I couldn't resist adding a rainbow of color instead!
Have you seen the new "sash" style dies yet?  They only cut across the top and bottom of the die - they remain attached on either end.  These are great for just slipping a colorful sheet of card stock behind to let the die take center stage!   I cut the Superstar Sash four times across the front panel of my card.  I alternated the cut direction - flipping the die on every other cut so  some have the loop facing up, and others have the loop facing down.

I colored the rainbow panel with Peerless Watercolors from Birch Press Design.  To get that splotchy effect I pressed the paper between two large acrylic blocks I use for stamping and let them dry in between them.
I embellished my card with gold glitter stars cut from the same die (The Superstar Sash).  They add just the right amount of sparkle!
I double cut the "Decor Celebrate" die - once from gold glitter paper, and once from gold foil.  I stacked them to make the sentiment bolder and easier to read.
This is so fun and colorful - it looks party ready doesn't it?

Rainbow colors
by Ilona Zbieg

Hi Poppystamps fans.

For todays inspiration I want to show you colorful and optimistic card. Firstly I made a background using butterfly mask from Memory box and distress inks of Tim Holtz. I mixed 5 colors of inks to get this fantastic motive - vivid , very summer'colors which brings memories of Spanish fiesta.

Next I painted pieces of color with Ecoline water inks and then I cut out those butterflies you can see at the top. Below that I added turquise birthday wishes.

Card is going to one of my friend and I hope that weekend party  will be so colorful!

Thank you for stopping by.Have a wonderfu day.

Climbing Roses
by Olga Direktorenko

Roses and lattices are meant to be together so for this summer project I have combined the stamped roses with a die cut lattice to create some interesting dimensional effects. There is also some partial die cutting involved!

The VIDEO below shows all the creative process from beginning to end:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Floral Oval
by Jeanne Jachna

Hi!  Jeanne here today!  I'm loving all the flowers in my garden ! Each day is a new bloom ready to reveal itself!  If you love flowers too then you need to check out the new Flower Patch Stamp Set!  It's packed full of floral images - some are solid that you just need to ink, and others are outline drawings that you can color.    There are even sentiments so you have everything you need to complete a card.  You can see all the images on the linky at the bottom of this post.
I started with a distress background.   I wanted the color to peek out from behind the pretty die Woodland Oval Frame.  I kept laying the die over the inked area to make sure that the coverage was good.  Using the same ink I stamped a few flower images.  Last I mixed a little distress ink with water and splattered it over the card.  Background complete!  Time to decorate!
I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the floral frame and then stamped and die cut lots of leaves and flowers to make a pretty arrangement.  The coordinating die cuts make this a breeze.  I cut lots of flowers stamped in many different colors so I would be able to choose the ones I wanted for this.  I wish you could have seen my desk - so many colors!
The stamp set includes a variety of images that you can use to single stamp ( like the red rose)  or double  stamps - the darker shade on the purple flower is the same stamp.  Even the pattern double stamped on the leaf (the veins) can be used as a single stamped image - and there are die cuts to match both.  Don't you love that little butterfly?
A sprinkle of clear sequins (I didn't want them competing with the color of the flowers) adds just the right amount of sparkle!
One good turn deserves another !  What a great way to say thank you!  I think the recipient will know how much you care with a hand made card!

Have a beautiful day!
