You have a terrific birthday
by Yoonsun Hur

Hello crafty friends, Yoonsun here. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Today I want to share with you my birthday card using Freida Leaf and Devyn Butterfly Trio dies.

To create this card:
1. Die cut leaves from watercolour paper using Freida Leaf die, watercolour them roughly with Peerless watercolours.
2. For the ink blended background, blend on white paper panel with Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks using mini blending tool, then spritz on it with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist.
3. Die cut butterflies from pearl white card stock using Devyn Butterfly Trio die.
4. Mount watercoloured leaves and white butterflies as shown to the inked panel, then frame it with Rectangle tag die cut.
5. For the sentiment, I used Hope and Thanks stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

All About Love.

Hi Pam here, welcome to Poppystamps blog.  hope you are loving the New release as much as me..

Love themed card today, could be for many occasions.. Valentines Day..Wedding Anniversary..New Home..

Card 7" x 7" finished..   I started by cutting  Boddington Cottage,  next I cut the bottom half with  Memory box.  Open Studio.  Stitched Oval Layers. removed this die,    Then using  Heart Breeze Die, I cut the bottom again.. Cut another Stitched Oval Layer, shade with blue ink, add a touch of colour to the cottage,  Adhered this with 3d foam  tape to the full oval to create dimension. I placed this on white square card the black a touch larger.

Hope you like this, as much as myself, thought it needed a touch of red, so I die cut again with red card.

Placed two Playful Kitties on the new Park Bench die, shaded around the outline with a colouring pen, makes it pop of the white background...two red hearts.. Word love cut two one white and black to create a shadow..

Finished with Freida Leaf (beautiful useful die) from the top left.

I embossed in an embossing folder, layered onto black a touch larger, the onto main card base. few gems.

Thank you for calling by Poppystamps  blog  Pam x.

Marcelle Flower
by Sue McRae

Hello everyone, Sue here with a card using wood grain paper and three dies from the new release.

I wanted to let the beautiful Marcelle Flower take centre stage on this card.

I die cut the flower from birch wood veneer, keeping the petals in the original birch colour and using a Copic marker to colour the stem and stamen. Love how well the wood took the debossing on the petals.

For the background I die cut a bunch of the Stick Frames to add some texture.

To finish off  I added a few Tremble Leaf die cuts for a grassy zone.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Penguin Be Mine...
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to the Poppystamps Inspiration Blog. I chose to use the adorable penguin stamps and dies for my card. Cutting basic Hearts and the lovely glitter heart I found in my stash for the WOW effect. I Poppy3
the penguins and added a water-colored floor so they were not floating in air.

Thanks for stopping by today, be sure and let me know what you think! I love reading your comments :)

For A Wonderful Time
by Irena Kowalczyk

Hi everyone! Irena here...
When I saw the new die 'Bellina Butterfly Collage', I immediately knew it would be one of my favorites.

Dies 'Butterfly Collage' in a pink cardboard cut out, pasted on foam dimensional tape, I added green leaves at the end of a large flower.
In the bottom of the card I added sentiment.

A little of spring in the middle of winter.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

One of My Favorite Peeps
by Jeanne Jachna

You already love Poppystamps for their dies, but have you checked out their clear stamp sets?  They're absolutely adorable!  There are 11 new clear stamp sets with coordinating dies that were released this month.  Today I'm playing with "To All My Peeps".  This set is perfect for Spring / Easter.
They are beautifully drawn and have clever sentiments to match the images.  I created a simple watercolor background with blue and green Peerless watercolors.  I wanted it to look like grass and sky to set the scene for my little chickies!

I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the images with Copic Markers.   Memento Ink dries quickly and never bleeds with Copic Markers.   I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black for a crisp dark sentiment.

My watercolor skills have come a long way in the past year.  I really love working with Peerless Watercolors and a water brush.  The colors blend beautifully and are easy to manage.  You simply brush the water where you want it and pick up just a little pigment from the watercolor paper sheets.   The color blooms when it comes in contact with the water you laid down on your paper.   I recently discovered that you can iron your work after it's completely dried to smooth out some of those wrinkles and get your projects to lay flat.
What's unique about the Poppystamps Clear Stamp sets is that the matching die sets have more dies.  There is a die cut for practically EVERY shape in the stamp set.  That is really unusual since most other brands only offer a handful of dies for their sets - not for every single stamp.   This makes it easier for you to create - no fussy cutting - a perfect clean crisp outline every time.  The dies are open "window" so you just stamp, color, tape down the die so the image shows in the open window, and die cut.   It doesn't get easier than that!

You can see all the new dies and stamps by clicking on the Poppystamps January 216 catalog in the right side bar, or just click here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
