Hampstead Wreath
by Sue McRae

I'm here with my second post for the Blog Blitz. I hope the design team has been inspiring you with all the new release dies!

Today I'm showcasing the Hampstead Oval Frame Die. Love this leafy wreath with stitched detail that can be used horizontally or vertically.

First, I die cut all my inked elements from water colour paper and used Distress Inks to colour them and I spritzed everything with Perfect Pearls for a little shimmer.

I die cut the wreath twice from vellum and adhered each  layer behind the water coloured wreath to add more layers and interest.

I also added a few Devyn Butteflies (also a new release) and the sentiment to finish off the card.

Wreaths are so versatile to have in your stash. They are great for a lot of occasions and can be decorated with flowers, hearts, nuts, fruits and more or left clean and simple.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Please leave a comment for your chance to win the Hampstead Oval Frame and make sure to come back twice a day until the end of the Blog Blitz on January 16th.

Hi Sue,
I love wreaths and this one is beautiful. I liked the layering you did with the vellum and green die cuts.

Beautiful card! Love that wreath ♥

This is one of my favourite dies in this release, Sue. Love how you've doubled it up. That's exactly what I would do, too :)

Beautiful card, Sue and so spring like, a real treat for the frigid day that this is in CT!

What a beautiful card.

Lovely card! I love the way you used vellum behind the colored wreath and the die is just beautiful!

Gorgeous colored card! Love the wreath frame, which I need in my stash! And love the butterflies, too.

This is a great die and so versatile too, for use in its oval shape or as sprigs of greenery.

This little leaf frame is so pretty! Combined with the butterflies and the beautiful birthday script, this looks like spring itself! My mind is racing with other ways to use the Hampstead Wreath, I think it will be very versatile .
