Red White And Blue

Hello, Marybeth here today! I have a very  simple card for you today.

I just love this sail boat die and it comes with  small and large sail boat and two styles of waves. You can even use the negative part of the die to end up with 4 different styles of waves. Hope that makes sense .

I also used the memory box Texture Wave designer Stencil.

I cut the sail boat out 3 times, once in white , blue and fun foam ( to make it thicker)

I used the stars from the Small Madison Window Set. I was happy to see the little flowers look like stars.

Special Birthday Mum

Birthday mumWelcome to Poppystamps Blog! Lezlye, here from Sunny Northern California with some Floral Mum inspiration for you. I also show you how I made my own background paper using one of Memory Box C. Designer Stencils.

To make my background paper I started with a Memory Box Stencil and some Ranger Distress ink. I love this ink because it blends so well. Using a foam tip applicator to apply different levels of the same color for a great blended effect!

I then blended around the edge of the cardstock.

Great Big Easter Egg

IMG_1553 2-wm

Easter is almost here! I hope the Easter Bunny brings me a great big white chocolate egg! This big egg is right at home amid the pretty flowers in the garden. I used two dies from the new release, the Garden Bouquet and the Ribbon and Bow Egg, from Poppystamps.  I cut all the pieces and assembled it together like a puzzle. Then I cut the outline of the flowers a second time in order to give them a little more dimension.  Everything about it says spring!

Have a wonderful holiday season!

Live your life in color!

Dont you just love these cute bows, come with "Frilly Bunny". touch of pink is wink of Stella pens.

Bunnies have been coloured with Distress inks in  shades of brown.

Spring Tulips

Hello, it's Zuzana here again to share some nice card with you. I picked spring colour combination for my delicate Poppystmaps dies and heat embossing technique.  Well, experimenting is part of my creativity.

Love You PS

Started with inking blue background card blank, then die cutting Poppystmaps Grendon Wreath die from pastel green cardstock.

Love You detail 1 PS

Continued with using fantastic Peace Love and Joy Tags and Greeting Tags assembled under the wreath as my sentiment.

Love You detail PS

Finally die cut Poppystamps Tulips Bunch which I stamped with Versa Mark and separately tulip by tulip heat embossed with embossing powders. I tried for distressed effect.  Need more practice :0) Added ribbons, tied the bow, then adhesive gems and pearls to finish.

Have a beautiful morning and don't forget that life is full of experimenting! :0)

Easter Tags

Easter Tags

Sue here today to show you a few quick and easy Easter Tags I made that would be fun to finish off any goodies and gifts you may be giving out for Easter.

Easter Tags & Dies

Here's a peek at the dies I used to create the tags.  As you can see only one die (the eggs) is really Easter oriented but with some clever die combinations creating a cute Easter scene is possible!  For example the scalloped green edging on the tags is a wave die from the Marina Sailboats set.

The process of making all the tags is pretty quick when you use the same products for each tag. (the same 2 colours of card stock, 3 colours of glitter card stock, wood paper and white twine).

Easter Tags Closeup

Simple things like the texture from the wood paper on the Garden Pots, the embossing on the Country Baskets and the texture on the glittered eggs can really add interest to the tags.

I hope I've inspired you to think outside of the box when combining dies.  Thanks for visiting with me today and happy crafting!

Spring flower Cart

Hello crafty friends, Yoonsun here.

Spring is the perfect time to get back into gardening, whether it be to plant flowers, grow vegetables or get rid of those nasty weeds from winter. And today, I made watercolour card called 'Spring flower cart'.

To create this card, 1)I die cut Large Garden Cart, Frisky Squirrels, small flowers & leaves from watercolour paper. 2)I coloured them with Distress inks -cart: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Black Soot / squirrel: Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo / flowers & leaves: Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn. 3)I mounted them to the white cardstock. 4)To finish it off, I coloured the sky and the ground with Distress inks Tumbled Glass, Gathered Twigs and added mixed clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Cute Easter Cottage

Easter House CU5

Hi!  Jeanne here today!  I really enjoyed seeing all the Cute Cottage projects from the design team, and friends who linked up in the gallery for the challenge.   I thought I'd give it a try myself.  I decided to make a "Cute Easter Cottage".  I used the Halloween Roof and Porch set to give my house a "cookie cutter" look.  I had to make only one minor adjustment... I trimmed the spider web design from the peak of the roof.
I had lots of fun adding different embellishments to my design.  The bird is from the Serendipity Bird Frame, and the clouds from the High Flying Kites set.   The little heart window boxes are from the Love Cottage Roof set.
Easter House CU3
Of course I had to have a couple of cute little bunnies delivering a basket of colorful eggs to the front door.   A little metallic pearl made the perfect door knob.
I attached a few of the elements with adhesive foam tape to add more dimension.  I took this angled photograph so you could see them better.
Did you notice the Pine Tree Border in the background?    All the little details make this so much fun!
I hope you're playing along with our challenge this month.  It's called "Through My Window". You can link up projects featuring windows, what you see thorough your window, or a die cut window card - like  shaker or a frame.  We'd love to see your designs and you might just win a prize too!

Wishing you a beautiful day!
