Hello dear Poppystamps friends! It's Zuzana here with new this time bit masculine card for you. I was playing with sweet Ginger Frame die today to show you, that frame dies can create beautiful backgrounds too.

Hello PS

I used Ginger Frame die to create a nice pattern background. I run a dark blue cardstock through my cutting machine, then I repeated the same process with baby blue cardstock and inserted baby blue frames in to the dark blue die cut ovals.

Hello PS detail

Adhered on white panel , added bit of stencil on the bottom. Then stitched around the edges. Wrapped silk cream ribbon, tied a chunky bow. Matted panel with cream cardstock and affixed on the card front.

Then I started with embellishments. I added letters 'Hello' from Memory Box Open Studio Oh Hello to create nice bold sentiment. Fixed some light green sequins and mint button to finished.

Have a beautiful Saturday. Keep safe and warm, snuggle under blanket and enjoy crafting!

Loving birds

Hi :)

Ilona here with another card to share! Today I bring you a taste of Spring.

Delicate green colour, twigs and birds.

The main point of the card are loving birds.

For my card I've used Serendipity Bird Frame.

To make the background I used  Corrina Background. On light green paper  I glued white dies.

Love is in the Air

Jeanne here today with a quick fun Valentines card!  I created a cloud background with  the Puffy Cloud Border die.  Starting at the bottom of my card base I inked up rows of clouds one layer at time.  I used the die cut border as a mask to apply the distress ink.   Heart Ballooons Make It
The heart balloons were easy to put together.  I cut them from three different colors - pink, red and gold.  I just switched out the inserts.

The die comes with an extra balloon that is perfect for placing behind the open striped or dotted balloons.
I held the cut out pieces and twine  in place with some washi.  Next I adhered them to the card base with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.

I adhered the letters with adhesive foam tape and attached the ends of the twine to the top of the letters with a glue dot.
A sprinkle of heart gems and sequins for a little extra bling, and I'm a happy girl!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

It’s Like Playing With Puzzles

Hello, Marybeth here today, with a fun card to make: using the Heart Stack Die . Its like playing with puzzles, I find it very relaxing.

I hope you all enjoyed the Blog Blitz with so many amazing new dies and beautiful cards!

I  cut the Heart Stack twice, once in pink and then again in the gingham. Its layered on top of embossed: Heart Confetti stencil from Memory box. For the little scalloped edge I used the Marnia Sailboats. I cut my strip then since its not long enough I ran it through my die cutting machine twice to make one long scallop.

Hope this image helps you see what I did. I placed the die in the already cut grove and cut again to make it longer. You can kinda feel where it fits.

I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!

Blog Blitz - Be My Valentine

Hello crafty friends, Yoonsun here.

Today is the last day of Poppystamps Blog Blitz! Woooow!! What an exciting journey it has been. You have until Jan 31 to leave a comment on all the post’s you’d like to enter.

For my card today, I made Valentine card with Woodland Heart Frame Die. Isn't this intricate heart frame beautiful? I so love it!!

Red is a loud, bright colour. I love using red & white color combination when I make Valentine cards! It is a traditional but the most beautiful colour combo for sure.

For my own inky background, I blended on the white cardstock in Distress Ink Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries using blending tool at first. I then layered new Memory Box Hearts Heart Confetti stencil over the inky background and dabbed with Distress Ink Fired Brick using dauber. Lastly, I spritzed a bit of water and white ink here and there.
I placed the woodland heart frame diecut to the middle of the cardstock and cut handwritten 'You' word from Open Studio Amazing You Word Dies out 6 times and then affixed all pieces together using fine tip glue pen -I wanted to make thicker like chipboard.

Leave a comment on this post by January 31 for your chance to WIN the Woodland Heart Frame Die.

Poppystamps flag with butterfly and buttons January 2015 (1)

The buttons can be used in so many different ways, you can sew them on, as I did with twine at the top of my flag, but you can also stack them in order to create something entirely different. I used two buttons as centrepieces for my butterfly. Yes, this new release sure is making us happy, right girls? ;-) So would you like to win the die of today? It's Stitched Buttons! Please leave your comment to this post and who knows you'll be sewing your own buttons onto your creations next time ;-)

Thanks for watching again!
