Put that Fire Out

Fire Thank you

Welcome to my post for Poppystamps. Lezlye Lauterbach Designs here. We have been experiencing a large amount of wildfires here in Northern California. I thought I would make a Thank you card for the Firemen and Women who risk their lives to fight these dangerous fires!
I used some Twine from the Twinery, the fire hydrant die from Poppystamps and I hand cut the grass hills and hand drawn sidewalk.
Hope you have a Great Day!

Halloween Greetings

I love the new Poppystamps - Scary Background [1078] die.  Background die cuts are great for a quick card.  Just add a few stickers/embellishments or other die cuts and you have a quick haunting greeting.  What is even better is that you have all the letters from the die to use as a greeting on other cards.

For my post today, I used some spooky embellishments [stickers] to make it appear as if something was lurking behind the letters.  Bats and googlie eyeballs are watching you. Open the card if you dare...

Hello to you on this wonderful Monday!
I hope your week is off to a great start.
I have created a fun card using the stencil folder and beautiful dies Poppystamps.
For the background I used Inka Gold in two colors: Oldsilver, Oldgold.

On the sunflower was also added little Inka Gold.

Cozy Winter Fire

2014 Cozy Winter Fire

Greetings Fellow Crafters

Thanks for dropping by the Poppy Stamps Design Team blog.

Today’s post share some of the new July die releases there are so many fun new dies in this collection. My design today started with the Classic Brick Fireplace which I die cut with white card stock and then stamped over the brick pattern with some brown ink. I attached the Warm & Cozy Fire in yellow with sponged red edges and used the porch piece from the Halloween Roof & Porch die as the grate.

I added the Stocking Garland to the front of the fireplace, Pine Garland with some red berries and the Brevilla Houses on top of the mantel with stickles glitter glue on the roof edges. The corners are the Crochet Corner and the flower baskets are the Small Verano Lamp shade upside down with a Leafy Sprig and Small Blooming Poinsettia.

If you have any questions on how I created any of the items please feel free to send me an e-mail which can be found on my blog.

Twinery Blog Hop Badge - POPPYSTAMPS

Hello Poppystamps friends!  Today we are joining with The Twinery  to bring you a blog hop featuring the Poppystamps die cut images you love and beautiful colored twine.     Have you tried Twinery twine yet?     You will love all the different colors they offer – striped, solid, and even metallic!

Our twine is made from 100% cotton (and some of our twine is twisted with gorgeous metallic string!) and made in the USA. Whether you're gift wrapping, crafting or tying up baked goods to give to a friend, our baker's twine adds a fresh, yet nostalgic look to any project at hand! Our baker's twine comes in an assorted array of delicious colors and is uniquely twisted against a bright white hue, creating an eye-popping burst of color and a creative embellishment! Our twine has lots of color which lends to a fun, candy-striped look.

For the next three days (July 24-26) designers from Poppystamps and The Twinery are sharing beautiful projects featuring Poppystamps dies, and Twinery Twine with you.

Make sure you visit and comment on each blog and you will be entered to win both the Elsa Butterfly and Frozen Flakes dies.  You have until 12 am US EST July 30 to leae a comment. The winner will be posted on July 31.
