While having a play day with my buddy Brenda, I decided to play with Poppystamps Blooming Poinsettia. I've had this die for quite some time, having purchased it early in Spring, but until yesterday, I'd not played with it. I love white on white, and earlier I'd made a Christmas card using white on white with just a single pop of color. Check out my blog page if you want to see what I made.
Getting back on track....I couldn't decide if I wanted to make a Christmas card, or a Birthday card, or a Wedding card, so, I made a card that I can add a sentiment at a later date. This is a method I use often. I hate getting caught needing a card and having lots of cards that don't fit the occassion. When I started creating with this die, I was thinking Christmas. I am pleased that this die doesn't just have to be Christmas. Layering the poinsettia makes a beautiful fantasy flower. I have a feeling this card will be a birthday card for a very favorite gal.
Lots of glitter, pretty ribbon and some bling....and this card is finished. This card is quick and very easy.
Here's the die I used: Poppystamps Blooming Poinsettia #861
