The Poppystamps Veggie Border Die 843, sunshine and crisp Key Lime Gingham create a colorful card here today. It's a chef's dream garden - carrots, radishes and beets perfectly-spaced and ready for a summer meal. (I think my "beets" are actually turnips, but I found the perfect beet colors in Clearsnap's ColorBox Brights Paintbox set - so let's have beets today.)
Emboss the Veggie Border on 140# cold-pressed watercolor paper. I used the Big Kick multi-purpose platform with Tab 2 flipped away, Memory Box Metal Adapter Plate, cutting plate, die face-up, watercolor paper smooth-side-down, rubber embossing mat and another cutting plate. "Harvest" a carrot and a beet from each end of the border to fit an A2 card.
Diecut a piece of vellum for a stencil - it doesn't absorb the ink and it's thin enough to create a clean, crisp image. Ink the embossed design with a clip chalk applicator and pom-poms - and the Brights Paintbox set of blendable pigment inks. Emboss the inked image with detail clear powder.
Diecut "grow!" diagonally from Key Lime Gingham with the Memory Box Parker Lower Alphabet Die 98363 and attach it to Parsley Cardstock. Diecut Memory Box Fringe Circle 98268 from Sunflower Cardstock.
Cut a 4.25" x 1.75" strip of Key Lime Cardstock. Attach the pieces to a Dill Notecard, using foam dots for the greeting. Coordinate the card with a matching Dill Envelope.
