Happy Birthday from Juggling Rex!

Greetings! How are you out there in bloggy land? Today's card features Juggling Rex, an adorable part of our Poppystamps family. He's the focal point of a clean and simple birthday greeting. I used sunny shades of blue and yellow for a bright card or invitation for a birthday celebration.

The Cornerstone Seal Die makes a nice frame for an image and I love how a peek of color comes through the inner ring of the die. So fresh!

Blue, yellow and orange is a happy color palette for Summer and I like it because it can be used for all ages.

Keepy on Juggling Rex! Until next time! Have a fantastic week....

Have you seen our new shutters dies? Check this out!

Happy weekend to all of you! Have you been out enjoying the sunshine? Spring is in full swing for most of us by now. It's really hard to believe it's almost April. Wow. Today I had to share a card using the brand new Madison Window Shutters! If you have either of our Madison Window Dies, then you simply must have the shutters to match. There is a small version and a larger version. Check them out in our store or at your favorite local stamp store. LOVE.

When I think of shutters I always think of traditional white windows with slate grey shutters, so that's exactly what I made. This littel scene is perfect for early Spring, before everything is in bloom. It was such fun to piece all of these elements together.

Here are all the supplies I used to make the card - wonderful dies from both Poppystamps and Memory Box and some of our new Memory Box stamps. Full supply list is at the bottom of the post.

Ps3

The branch is actually a dark brown - but in the photo is looks black. I thought it added a crisp contrast to the lighter colors.

Ps4

The shutters and the bird were popped up with some foam tape. I stamped the Mercer Rose Background in a light grey to look like wallpaper inside the home. I mounted the paper to the back of the window, before placing it on my card.

Have any of you made things with the new shutters yet? We would love to see what you've made! Feel free to post on our Poppystamps facebook page and share your projects!

Thanks....

Hi Poppystamps friends! Happy Weekend! Did you have a good week? Did you get in some crafty time? Cheers to Spring!

Today's project features the Poppystamps Gentle Leaf Die along with some gorgeous papers and the Script Thanks Die from Memory Box. I used them to create some clean and simple Thank You cards. These would be great as a set...and I think I might have to make more!

Ps1

Using the negative space from a die is a hot trend right now...and I love it! It just seems so classy and clean. I love how you can put different patterned papers behind the cut out and create unique looks. Here I used the fabulous Memory Box gingham papers!

Ps2

Ps3

The Thanks Die was cut out of the same watercolor paper I used for my top layer. I like the embossing effect. I also could have cut the word out and used the negative for that. SO many dies...and ideas...so little time!

The Moonlight Butterfly die fits just perfectly into this Spring scene. I die cut an Easter Egg from the Viola paper and nestled it into some pretty green grass....

6

First, I adhered the green grass to a sheet of white cardstock...

8

Then I ran it through the die cut machine with the Catillion Frame Die....

Thank you ever so much for stopping by to see what's new here at the Poppystamps Blog! We love having you here!
