Hello all! Hope your week is off to a wonderful start. Here is a card that I made using lucky dragonfly and bamboo shoot.

PoppyTinyDragonflyWBambooS

I inked the bamboo shoot with shabby shutters and peeled paint distress inks, spritzed a little water on it before I stamped the first impressions off on a piece of scratch paper. I then stamped the second impressions on the kraft card  base for a fainter look. For the focal piece, I used the first impressions of the bamboo shoot images for a stronger look. The lucky dragonflies are colored with Copic markers, cut out, then glued on the piece. I used a couple of rolled up glue dots to pop the wings up. The sentiment just a note (B851) is from Memory Box.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi all! Here is a card that I made using the masking technique.

PoppySakuraPoem

I first stamped the sakura and tiny sakura images on a piece of watercolor paper using black StazOn ink. I then made masks for the sakuras before I stamped the peach blossom poem over them with vintage photo distress ink. The sakuras are then colored with Twinkling H2O in Rose Petal. The panel is then inked with tea dye and vintage photo distress inks. The sentiment just a note (B851) is from Memory Box.

PoppyFFS

Today's card is made with the adorable felix fisher. I just adore these cute gnomes! =) After coloring him with Copic markers, I cut the image out with a die and inked the piece lightly with antique linen distress ink when the paper was still in the die. The patterned paper is from the Sprout collection by Memory Box.
