thank you tags

Hello all! =) I made two tags to share with you today. Here they are.

PoppyKojiKindnessTag

I used the beautiful bamboo forest and Koji Kindness for my first tag. The background is inked with tumbled glass and shabby shutters distress inks. The bamboo forest is stamped with shabby shutters. The handsome Koji Kindness is colored with Copic markers.

PoppyLuckyDragonflyTag

The background of my second tag is made the same way as the first one and I again used bamboo forest as the back drop. It's stamped with peeled paint distress ink. I stamped and colored the lucky dragonfly with Copic markers before I cut them out. I then added a little star dust stickles to their wings for a little shine. The sentiment Thank You script (B832) is from Memory Box.

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by!

happy spring

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying the long weekend if you are in the US. If not, hope your week is off to a wonderful start. I know some of you might be tired of winter now, so I have a springy card for you.

PoppySpringFan

The card base is spritzed with a mixture of tea dye distress ink reinker + water + Perfect Pearl. I created a pool of ink with shabby shutters, tumbled glass and scattered straw distress inks and dragged the watercolor paper through it. The versatile peach blossom poem is stamped with scattered straw distress ink.

PoppySpringFanS

I stamped the cherry blossom fan on the peach blossom poem background then created another watercolor base with spiced marmalade and mustard seed. The fan was stamped on it, cut out then pop dotted over the image on the background. I used a water brush and colored the little cherry blossoms on the fan with some worn lipstick distress ink before adding the pearls.

PoppySpringFanC

The kanji "spring" is stamped with spun sugar and worn lipstick with a spritz of water. The sentiment is Happy Spring (B1225) by Memory Box. Some lace trim and buttons finished the card.

birthday wishes

Hi all! Here is a card that I made using the adorable bella balloon.

PoppyBellaBalloonS

Isn't she sweet? She makes me smile. =) I colored bella with Copic markers. After cutting her out with a die, I inked around the image with antique linen distress ink when the paper was still in the die.

love

Hello~ Hope you haven't got tired of my watercolor backgrounds yet, because here is one more card with it. =)

PoppyLoveS

I used one of the Kanji stamps that is currently on sale for my card. Since it's close to Valentine's Day, I used the beautiful character love. The background for the peach blossom poem is made using milled lavender, aged mahogany and mustered seed distress inks plus a couple of spritzes of water. The peach blossom poem is stamped with rusty hinge distress ink.

PoppyLove

I stamped the bamboo shoot with peeled paint by stamping the first impression on a piece of scratch paper and use the second impression for a lighter look. The kanji love is stamped with aged mahogany. A few buttons and bits of lace trims helped finishing the card.

thank you

Hello, everyone! Here is a card that I made using the beautiful bamboo forest and lucky dragonfly.

PoppyLuckyDragonflyS

To make the background, I pressed broken china, tumbled glass, shabby shutters and bundled sage distress inks on my craft sheet, spritzed the inks with water. I used my fingers to mix the inks together before I dragged a piece of watercolor paper through the ink pool.

PoppyLuckyDragonfly

I then stamped the bamboo forest on the inked paper with forest moss distress ink. After making another mixed ink background, I stamped the lucky dragonfly a couple of times then cut out. The Thank You script (B832) sentiment is from Memory Box.

Hope you have a lovely week and thanks for stopping by! =)
