Papers:  Memory Box Fernbrae, Paper Tray Ink CS
Stamps:  Poppystamps Peggy Polka Dot 218C
Stamp Ink:  VersaFine onyx black, Memento tuxedo black
Embellishments: Love Elsie gel sticker, Shimmerz Spritz baby's breath, Karen Foster's Scrapper Floss white, Creative Café buttons, misc. ribbon, Prismacolor pencils, Fancy Pants flowers

Our card today was inspired by the sentiment gel sticker.  One look at those colors, and we knew we had to do a card based on that color scheme.  So, we started by stamping Peggy Polka Dot {218C} onto white cardstock. Then we selected Prismacolor pencils that matched the sticker and colored the image in and cut it out.  After that, we used some scrap Memory Box Fernbrae paper and attached it to the center of a white card base.  We then added some flowers, ribbon, and buttons to finish the card.  When coloring in your Poppy Stamps images, try selecting an embellishment and using that color scheme for fun!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Let's Celebrate!

Papers:  Memory Box kraft notecard, Memory Box Poppyfinch, Strathmore watercolor paper
Stamps:  Poppystamps Catie Cupcake 220C
Stamp Ink:  Palette burnt umber, Memento rich cocoa
Embellishments: Shimmerz butter cream, Deluxe Designs chipboard, Martha Stewart scallop dot punch, Derwent watercolor pencils, Quickutz rub-on sentiment, SU baja breeze ribbon, Making Memories shopping bag paint

Today's card is one to be used for any celebration.  We used the Catie Cupcake stamp {220C} and stamped the image onto watercolor paper.  We then colored in the image with our Derwent watercolor pencils.  We also used a bit of color around the edges of the watercolor paper.  We then mounted the image onto a piece of painted chipboard to give the card a bit of dimension.  Before putting the chipboard on the card, we adhered a piece of Memory Box Poppyfinch paper and a bit of ribbon to the Memory Box kraft notecard.  Next we inked the edges of the notecard and placed our chipboard on top of the paper and ribbon.  To finish, we added a rub-on sentiment.  Catie Cupcake is very versatile, and could be used for so many cards and even for scrapbook pages.  We hope you have enjoyed today's creation!

Stamps:  Poppystamps Bobby Bird 216C
Stamp Ink:  Palette burnt umber
Embellishments: Derwent watercolor pencils, misc. ribbon & twill, hemp from Hobby Lobby

In our last post, we shared the Poppystamps Bobby Bird {216C} stamp in a blue and red color scheme. Today we thought we would share this same stamp image in kraft, red, and green.  We used the same design and same elements, we just used different colors.  We really like both color schemes for this stamp image.  Here is what both completed cards look like:
We hope you have enjoyed our week of holiday postings.  Be sure to stop in next week for some more stamping fun!

Bobby Bird in Blue

Papers:  Memory Box blue poppy and cranberry CS, Strathmore watercolor paper
Stamps:  Poppystamps Bobby Bird 216C
Stamp Ink:  Palette burnt umber
Embellishments: Derwent watercolor pencils, misc. ribbon & twill, hemp from Hobby Lobby

We have been creating a lot of holiday-themed cards lately, so this week will be dedicated to holiday cards.  Today we will share Bobby Bird {216C} in a blue and red holiday color scheme.  First, we stamped the image onto watercolor paper.  Then we used our watercolor pencils to color in the image.  We also drew some "snow" at the bottom of our image and colored it in.  Next we added some ribbon and hemp and then mounted our watercolor paper onto Memory Box cardstock.  To finish, we mounted that to a Memory Box notecard and added some printed Christmas twill.  We sure do like Bobby Bird in Blue!

Now, for our next post, we will share Bobby Bird in more holiday colors.  Be sure to stop back by!

Cats for Fall

Papers:  Memory Box jack o lantern notecard; Memory Box Twilight, Memory Box eggshell CS
Stamps:  Poppystamps Large Kitty 228C & Small Kitty 227B
Stamp Ink:  Adirondack espresso
Embellishments: We R Memory Keepers metal tab

With Fall, October, and Thanksgiving only a couple of months away, we decided to create a holiday-themed card using the Poppystamps Kitty stamps {228C and 227B}.  To create this card, we used the Memory Box newly released Twilight papers with a Memory Box notecard.  We decided not to color in the images so that they would stand out more against the dark papers.  We cut our patterned papers, adhered them to the notecard, stamped the images onto Memory Box eggshell cardstock, added a metal embellishment, and that was it.  This really was a simple card to create.  We did not use a sentiment so that this card could be used for any Fall theme.  Enjoy, and stop back later this week as we create more holiday-themed cards.

Reading is Magical!

Papers:  Memory Box Dewfrost
Stamps:  Poppystamps Fiona Faerie 219C
Stamp Ink:  Palette burnt umber
Embellishments: Stickles cinnamon, American Crafts ribbon, Prismacolor pencils, Making Memories metal tag and staples

Today we decided to create a bookmark using Fiona Faerie {219C}.  We had seen a similar bookmark in a catalog so we thought it would be fun to create one with our own little twist using Fiona.

To start, we cut a piece of chipboard and covered it in paper from the new Memory Box Dewfrost 6x6 paper pack.  Then we stamped Fiona onto the tag and used our Prismacolor pencils to color the image.  The tag is metal and vellum.  The vellum was a little interesting to color on and not real smooth but we still liked the look.  Then we used Stickles and a paintbrush to add sparkle to the star wand.  We printed the title onto papers from the same paper pack and added it to our bookmark.  Then we tied on a bit of ribbon to finish.  This certainly would make a cute back-to-school bookmark for any teacher or child!

{Colorful} Peggy

Papers:  Memory Box sherbet, lavender, granny smith, and lagoon CS, Memory Box white notecard
Stamps:  Poppystamps Peggy Polka Dot 218C
Stamp Ink:  SU only orange, orchid opulence, taken with teal, and green galore
Embellishments: Copics YG06, YR04, V15, and BG45, Stickles turquoise, lime green, orange peel, and starry night, Basic Grey Offbeat buttons, Basic Grey rub-on, Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder, May Arts ribbon

Today we used Peggy Polka Dot {218C} to create our colorful card. First we started with four 1 1/2" squares of Memory Box cardstock--lavender, lagoon, granny smith, and sherbet.  We embossed them and placed them on our notecard.  Then we stamped Peggy onto white cardstock in matching inks and cut each image out.  We also colored just the bottom of her skirt using Copic markers.  Then we added the ribbon, Stickles to her hat, a rub-on sentiment, and a few buttons to finish.  A quick and fun card for any friend!
