Papers:  Memory Box ocean and granny smith CS, Memory Box mango biscotti CS, Paper Trey Ink
Stamps:  Poppystamps Teresa Tea Time 215C
Stamp Ink:  Memento tuxedo black
Embellishments: misc. ribbon, Nestabilities scallop die, Robin's nest medium white dew drops, Cosmo Cricket rub-on, Copic B05, YR04, YG23

Teresa Tea Time is perfect for a get well card or to bring a little cheer to someone.  First, we created a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card out of Memory Box mango biscotti paper.  Then we used our scalloped Nestabilities die to cut out a scalloped frame using Memory Box granny smith cardstock.  We mounted the frame onto Memory Box ocean cardstock.  Teresa is stamped on white cardstock, and we used Copic markers to give her a bit of matching color.  To finish, we added a rub-on sentiment, a ribbon, and dew drops to the corners of the white cardstock.  Now your card is ready to send to somone that needs a little cheering up in their day!  Thanks for stopping by, and we will see you next week with more creations!

We thought it would be fun to make a birthday card for any age!  This card was created using our Forest Fun clear stamp set, and it is appropriate for any birthday celebration.  The colors could be changed to the birthday person's favorite colors, or you could certainly make it gender specific.

We scored our Memory Box cardstock at 4 1/4" and then again at 3/4" to make the fold along the edge.  Then we cut a piece of Memory Box granny smith cardstock and printed the sentiment directly onto the cardstock.  Next, we added the ribbon, stamped three birthday cakes, and added a chipboard question mark.  To finish, we added a few staples and some Memory Box jewels to the candle flames.  Now you have a birthday card perfect for any age.  Enjoy, and happy stamping!

If you haven't picked up the Poppy Stamps Forest Fun clear set yet, you truly need to!  This set is such a versatile set!  It has everything from trees, clouds, rain drops, a birthday cake, a dog bowl & bone, and this very fun circle stamp.  We decided to use the circle stamp in the set to make this colorful card.

The card is super easy to make.  We used three different colored stamp inks and randomly stamped the circle onto our white Memory Box card.  Then we added a piece of Memory Box granny smith cardstock to the bottom half of the card.  To finish the card, we added some twill and a rub-on sentiment.  Imagine the different colors you could use to make different looks with this easy design and circle stamp!  You could also make great scrapbook paper.  Give it a try, and enjoy!

Embellishments: Ribbon Retreat ribbon, Copics G24, R02, & B34, Chatterbox rub-on, Memory Box frost blue pearls

We had so much fun creating with teal and orange for our Felix card on Monday, that we decided to have a little color challenge today.  The challenge is to use orange, baby blue, and green.  Not a color scheme used very often but so fun to use!

For our card, we used strips of Memory Box papers to show the color scheme off.  Then we stamped Petunia Petals onto the larger, middle blue section using Memento danube blue ink.  We gave her a little matching spot coloring using Copic markers.  Then we added some stitching and a bow and attached it to our Memory Box kraft card.  The sentiment we added is a rub-on.  To dress up and finish the card, we added Memory box pearls to her hat, to the bottom of the card, and on both sides of the sentiment.

So, we hope you will use your Poppystamps and this color scheme to create a fun card!  Have a great weekend!

The other day we shared a masculine card using Felix Fisher.  If you missed that post, look here.  Today we will share our feminine card using Peggy Polka Dot.  Isn't she a cutie?  And image how you could paper piece her dress.

For this card, we also kept Peggy's colors the same as our Memory Box papers, and we did just a bit of spot coloring with Copic markers just as we did with Felix.  And again, we used chipboard, stitching, and ribbon too. For the sentiment however, we use a rub-on instead of alphabet stickers.  We leave you today with a photo of both cards so that you can see the similarities yet their subtle differences.  Fun cards that leave the focus on the adorable Poppystamps!  Enjoy!

We decided to share two identical cards this week--one with a feminine flare and one with a masculine flare.  Today, of course, we are sharing the guys card!  Felix Fisher is so cute, and even if you don't have a fisherman in your life, what guy wouldn't love a card with Felix Fisher?

We didn't color the entire image for this card.  We kept Felix's colors the same as our papers, and we did just a bit of spot coloring with Copic markers.  The papers used are from Memory Box.  We added a chipboard star, buttons, a bit of stitching, and some twill.  A chipboard fish would be adorable but we didn't have one available.  Alphabet stickers were used for the sentiment.

Be on the look out for our feminine version of this card later this week, and if you don't already have Felix Fisher, we hope you will consider adding him to your collection!  Enjoy!

Trees, Trees, Trees!

Papers:  Memory Box Co. Sweetbay, Paper Trey Ink
Stamps:  Poppystamps Forest Fun CL145
Stamp Ink:  VersaFine vintage sepia
Embellishments: Basic Grey archaic buttons, misc. ribbon, Copic Markers E47 & YG03

Today we decided to create a card using the tree from the new Forest Fun clear stamp set. This is a great tree that can be used in so many different ways.  This card uses repetative stamping to create our tree scene.  The tree was stamped three times on various papers from the Memory Box Sweetbay 6x6 paper pack.  The two trees in the back only have a bit of coloring while the front tree is complete.  The branches, trunk, and leaves were all colored in using Copic markers.  Then a few buttons were added for fun.  The sentiment was computer generated and printed out on the same Memory Box papers.  A bit of sewing and a ribbon were added to complete today's card.  We hope you enjoy today's creation and that you will try a little repetative stamping with our new Poppystamps!  Have a great day!

Use a Cloud to Create Photo Corners

Stamp Ink:  SU elegant eggplant
Embellishments: American Crafts felt flowers, Michael's pearl brad, Crate Paper rub-on sentiment, misc. ribbon

In the new clear stamp set, there is a cloud stamp.  There are also rain drops so you really can create a cute scene.  Well today, we decided to use the cloud stamp to create unique photo corners.  The clouds were stamped onto Memory Box wisteria cardstock and cut out.  Once the stitching, Memory Box Rhubarb Tart papers, rub-on sentiment, and other embellishments were added, the "photo corners" were attached to the card.  Super simple but a card anyone would enjoy receiving.  Have fun "thinking out of the box" as you use all of the fun new Poppystamps!

It's Rex!

Stamp Ink:  Adirondack citrus, Adirondack denim
Embellishments: Basic Grey boxer buttons, hemp from Hobby Lobby, Nestabilities, Elle's Studio tag, CM heart maker

All of the animal stamps here at Poppystamps are so very cute!  We thought we would use Big and Small Rex today to create this card.  Both were stamped onto white cardstock using Adirondack denim ink.  Then they were cut out using Nestabilities die cuts and layered with other papers also cut out with Nestabilities dies.  All of the hearts were punched out on various Memory Box papers using a heart punch.  Then the edges of each heart were inked with the same denim ink.  The sentiment was printed out onto a tag.  A little stitching, a few buttons, and the tag complete our card.  If you haven't looked at all of the cute animal stamps here, head on over and look.  You won't be disappointed.  Have a great Saturday, and see you next time!

Poppystamps Clear Stamps!

Papers:  Memory Box Butterfield, Memory Box concord grape notecard, PTI white cardstock
Stamps:  Poppystamps Forest Fun CL145
Stamp Ink:  SU lovely lilac
Embellishments: misc. ribbon, Queen & Co. brad, hemp from Hobby Lobby, Karen Foster scrappers floss tan, American Crafts brads, Prima flower

Yes, Poppystamps also has clear stamps.  Today we used the pennant/Christmas tree stamp from the new Forest Fun clear set.  It can certainly be used for either a Christmas tree or a pennant.  So versatile and cute!

We stamped the pennant three times onto white cardstock, and then cut each pennant out.  After layering our patterned paper and ribbon onto the Memory Box notecard, we then attached the pennants to the card.  Then we added some hemp, buttons, and flowers for fun.  The sentiment was printed on the computer and attached to the pennants to finish.  We hope you enjoy today's creation.  And be sure to continue to stop by to see more fun creations using our new products!
